Ecosystem map

One studio, several related projects.

Modulo 59 is the independent studio. Project B59 is the research and archive project. nodeb59 is the arcade and community project. They are connected by the same person and the same working style, not by a corporate hierarchy.

Preservation

Project B59

The historical research and archiving project: cypherpunk history, internet history, and Bitcoin history, collected and organized.

Why it's connected

Separate tools are not a coherent place.

These projects would otherwise live as scattered websites, archives, games, conversations, and working systems. Keeping them loosely connected through Modulo 59 makes the whole ecosystem easier to understand and participate in.

How it connects

Research informs play. Play creates culture.

Project B59 preserves and explains. nodeb59 gives people spaces to gather and participate. Modulo 59 provides the design, technology, and operations work that keeps those activities legible.

Ways to participate

Enter as a visitor, collaborator, community member, or client.

Explore

Visit public research, games, archives, media, and project pages. Status labels separate live work from experiments and plans.

Contribute

Join conversations, submit work, participate in events, or propose research and creative collaborations.

Build with Kat

Client services apply the same connected-systems thinking used across this ecosystem to outside projects.

Honest status

A living system, not a finished monument.

Some areas are public and active. Others are in development, in research, experimental, or planned. The project directory states that status directly.
